about

She no longer has any strength to fight them. When they come for her she allows herself to be lead up the flight of stairs and into the altar room. They try mockingly to comfort her and thank here for her "brave" sacrifice. The joke, however, is on them. They paid her little attention over the previous week, and didn't think to tighten her bonds.

lyrics

You don’t need to scream any more
Yes my dear your nearing death door
You’ll be praised for what you do
Your death will make a life renew
Oh yeah!

That which sleeps has slept too long
It’s time to wake so ring the gong
Send this world to hell again
Release it from this plague called man

The time has come
The voices call
Let the gate
Bring forth the gods
You who the sane
Mind abhors
Now you shall slumber
Slumber no more!

They had boasted of a castle, but it had been nothing more than a crumbling victorian affair atop a lonely knoll by the ocean. They took here from the dank, stone walled cellar and up into the altar room where the preparations where arraigned. They sang their hymns and lit their incense unaware that their sacrifice had slowly worked herself free of her bonds.

Do you wish to see what lies beyond?
Close your eyes and pray to God
You seem distraught but do not fret
Your sacrifice, will not be ill met

This is wrong how can it be?
We’ve done all we can, to appease thee
Your supplicants who praise your name
Now flee your shape or else be maimed

The time has come
The voices call
Let the gate
Bring forth the gods
You who the sane
Mind abhors
Now you shall slumber
Slumber no more!
Slumber no more!
Slumber no more!

Down they go, deep into the earth's forgotten caverns of stygian splendor, where tyrant gods await! It is there, under the ancient forest of stalactites, that the auditory horrors of Space God Ritual take their shape and are birthed into an unsuspecting world! ... more
